Qualifications:
I was enrolled in the English Teaching Apprenticeship Program that was an initiative by the Brunei - U.S. English Language Enrichment Project for ASEAN. It was a 12 weeks program in which I spent 6 weeks in Brunei, being trained in the University of Brunei Darussalam and 6 weeks being trained at the East - West Centre in University of Hawaii.

During this training, I was taught to teach English as a Foreign Language to children of all ages. I was also given the opportunity to observe teachers conduct their lessons in elementary schools in Hawaii. Whilst in Brunei, I was mentored by a teacher from New Zealand who allowed me to conduct lessons and create lesson plans.

Writing: I have a short story published in a magazine at the University of Brunei Darussalam.

Management: I spent a year managing the University of Brunei Darussalam's online radio station. I was in-charge of recruitment, writing segments, organizing schedules, writing official letters, organizing social events, and so on.

Public Speaking: I was an active English debater which helped sharpen my research skills and public speaking skills.

I volunteered as an English teacher at an underprivileged school in Cambodia.
