I am a fully qualified teacher seeking full time employment in Chongqing. I am currently employed at English first where I have gained experience in teaching children and adults English as a second language. I have experience in teaching children aged 3-16, including reading, writing and oral skills. During time spent working at EF I have developed excellent classroom management skills; I can confidently deliver to both small and large groups of students with varied abilities. I have more than two years teaching experience gained in comprehensive schools in England, teaching students aged 11-15 and also experience teaching Physical Education to college students aged 16-19. Further, I have worked with pupils with diverse social, emotional and behavioral difficulties gained during time spent working in a behavioral unit (see employment Jan 2012). I was responsible for teaching small groups of student’s (11-15 years old) skills in various subjects; predominantly English literature, and Mathematics. These children had primarily missed out on a lot of their previous education, or had learning and behavioral difficulties. Teaching experience gained in England has enabled me to plan effective learning, produce schemes of work, develop lesson plans and tailor learning to suit individual needs. I am extremely reliable and hard working; I am always keen to take on new responsibilities. I have sound planning and organizational skills and can effectively manage pupils with challenging behavior. I take an active approach to teaching and I am both supportive and enthusiastic in my teaching approach.
