Self-Employed as Freelance English Teacher (January 2010-present)
Able to teach and tutor students of all ages and in all skill levels. Have worked with various mediums over the years including one-on-one tutoring, over the phone and on the internet. Other subjects include resumé writing and assisting with the completion of various applications and official documents. Have acquired the patience and skills necessary to become an effective teacher.

Berks County Intermediate Unit (April 2005-June 2011)
School bus driver with CDL B, safely transported children to and from school and other activities. Also served as a Dispatcher in a very busy office environment, answering calls on the phone and two-way radio. Daily filing duties and reporting activity to supervisors.

San Diego Symphony (August 1999-April 2004)
Ticket sales representative, assisting symphony clientele with the purchase of season passes or individual shows, in person, over the phone or online. Answer phone calls, taking messages for management and following up on customer issues. Staying up to date on new policies and procedures to effectively fulfill the needs of the company as well as all clients involved. Involved in bulk mailings, packaging and weighing to send out season ticket packages. Daily faxing and receiving various types of documents.

SKILLS/AWARDS

Also a native Spanish speaker, have been formerly trained in public speaking, writing essays and reading prose. Consider myself a good listener. Over the last 14 years I have consistently been awarded recognitions in community service work relating to the teaching of life principles that have earned a reputation for trustworthiness and practical wisdom.
